3–4 October 2026 | Based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Strengthen your emotional connection and bring renewed liveliness to your relationship. A focused weekend to reconnect. To understand what happens between you. To feel closer.

Based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the most research-supported approach for helping couples restore connection.

When connection gets lost

“We love each other, but we keep having the same fight."
"We go around in circles and end up further apart.”
“I don’t know how to reach my partner anymore.”
"Something between us has gone quiet.”
“We went through something, and never really found our way back.”

If this feels familiar, you are not alone.

And this is something that can shift.

What is Hold Me Tight?

The Hold Me Tight weekend is a couples workshop based on the work of Dr. Sue Johnson and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).  EFT is the approach with the strongest research evidence for helping couples reconnect. It has been shown to help 70–75% of distressed couples move into recovery.

What this weekend offers?

This is not group therapy. It is a structured training for couples.

The focus is on learning, experiencing and practicing new ways of connecting. Over the course of the weekend, you will be guided through seven structured conversations that help you:

- Understand the patterns you get stuck in
- Recognise what lies underneath conflict
- Respond to each other in new ways

At the core is a simple idea: we are wired for connection. When that connection feels uncertain, we react. When connection becomes safe again, things begin to open.

Is this weekend for you?

This EFT couples workshop may be helpful if you want to:

- deepen your emotional connection
- step out of negative communication patterns
- reconnect after a difficult period
- invest time and attention in your relationship

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from this weekend.

The workshop is not suitable in situations of ongoing violence, untreated addiction, or an active affair. In those cases, individual couples therapy is a better first step.

I have long experience working with international and intercultural couples in Brussels.

Different languages, cultural backgrounds, and ways of expressing emotion are welcome here.

You can speak in the language that feels most natural to you. I translate where needed, so each of you can stay close to your own experience.
